Who We Are

Meera has been dancing every type of dance she could find since she was 3. She finds Tribal Belly Dance  to be challenging, expressive, and beautiful. Meera is pursuing a career in Social Work at CSU. The highlight of each week for her is taking classes with Nancy and gathering with her fellow Bohemian Caravan dancers and rehearsing.

Nancy has been belly dancing since 1974 when she first took lessons from her grandmother, Opal. She has  a master’s degree in education; training in ballet, modern, jazz, folk dance and various belly dance styles.  Nancy especially loves the powerful connection, communication  and sense of community that group improvisation creates among tribal dancers.
